MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Welcome to the 5th edition of HYLITE. As the end of the first quarter of calendar year 2022 ends, it is time to introspect. 2021 has been a year of consolidation on many counts. The pandemic experience, as it draws to a hopeful end, has taught us all not to take anything for granted. Not only has it shaped how society shall dwell in the future but has created and outlined the way in which businesses and economies will have to function for many years to come.
The Metaverse, Crypto, Avatars and virtual meetings are now all becoming our new reality. We at Avlock have been adaptable and embraced this change as we progress towards a digital world - the next phase of evolution on Earth.
On the business front, it is indeed heart-warming to witness the kind of growth we have managed during the past year, despite all odds. While the past two quarters witnessed a slowdown in the automotive industry due to the shortage of semi-conductors, we have seen a steady rise in demand from the Railway sector, which has kept our growth on track. With continued focused team effort, coupled with the global and Indian economy on the verge of a complete revival and the auto industry now beginning to normalize, I have no doubt that 2022-23 shall see continued double digit growth for Avlock India.
We look forward to continuing working closely with our partners & take this opportunity to thank everyone for their invaluable contribution to our growth. I would like to make a special mention of our employees who have put in their dedicated time and effort to see our business flourish especially through this grueling pandemic. A big thank you also to their families who have so excellently supported the “work from home” model, which was a necessity last year.

ANTICIPATING MAGNIFICENT GROWTH FOR FY 2022-23
Since we are near the end of the financial year 2021-22, it would be worthwhile to think about the growth achieved as an organization. In spite of several shortcomings caused due to the global pandemic including tremendous shortage of raw material, limited availability of resources; Avlock India is anticipating a phenomenal progress in our top line as compared to the previous financial year. This is all made possible because of the indefatigable efforts of our team who has worked relentlessly to complete the tasks given irrespective of whether they were working from office or home during these challenging times. From ground zero, all have contributed to the best of their ability not only to bring in business but also timely completion of orders in hand.

Let's welcome Sajed Ali, who has joined us in the capacity of Manager – Warehousing and Logistics (HE Division - Eastern Region). He will be located in Kolkata. Sajed has been a part of the engineering industry for more than 20 years and has worked with prominent brands such as Gati Ltd., Avdel India Pvt. Ltd. & Avfast India Pvt. Ltd. to name a few. He has completed his MBA in Operations degree specializing in Logistics & Warehousing. In his free time, he likes to play football.
Meet Sadhana Avhad,
Incase you come across any HR-related work, you will notice a new face in Avlock India. Sadhana Avhad has joined us in the capacity of HR - Sr. Executive. She has more than 9 years of working experience and has worked with prominent brands such as Piramal Realty, Essar Group, Dharma production to name a few. She has received her BSc. Degree & completed PGD in Hospital Administration. In her leisure time, she likes to read, sing & play musical instruments.

It’s our pleasure to announce that Harshad Upadhye has joined our team as Sr. Manager - Business Development. He will work closely with Prashant Deshak in the Sales Department & will be located in Pune. He has done BE (Mechanical) & MBA (International Business). He has been part of the sales & BD industry for 11+ years. He is a badminton and Karate player & loves to listen English classic songs in his free time.
